We set each instrument up to play. The reeds, the bellows and the set-up all matter. We build, tune and advise on what suits the instrument and the player, honestly and without fuss.

What pleases us most are the players who come back for tuning and set-up, and the instruments played and kept for years. That is the sign that care and craft are worth something.

We work by hand and by ear. Making the reed pan and action, setting and tuning the reeds, valving, mending the bellows, step by step, listening. It is exacting, patient work, and that is where the difference lies.
